This beer is brewed in the Belgian Saison style (country farm house ale). A potent yet delicate ale, brewed with a unique Belgian yeast which develops a spicy, fruity flavor. Enormously complex. Available from May to around August.

Received a single 12-oz bottle via trade with kmweaver. Pours a clear pale golden yellow colored brew with a fast dissolving off-white head that leaves behind a minimal lacing and ring. Aroma of Belgian yeast, some light golden grain malt, and a touch of bubble gum. Taste is light bodied, some flavors of golden grain malt, cloves, a hint of Belgian yeast/banana esters and some mild spice. Finish is semi-dry with a light yeast and clove aftertaste.

12oz bottle. Pours a golden color with an off white head that forms lacing all around. The aroma is fruity with a very slight farmhouse aroma and spiciness. The flavor was crisp with a decent hop bittering and a fruity flavor with a nice spice in the background. Medium to light body with very fine carbonation.

Bottle, has a clear medium gold pour with a touch of orange and some darker gold in the brew (I saw some floaties in the brew), gives a white head and has medium effervescence, leaves some lacing on the glass, aromas of faint peach & orange, light malt, spicy citrus aroma appears to be the most dominant fragrance in this brew, there is fruit & sugar sweetness on the nose, maybe a hint of floral and funkiness in this beer, flavors of sour-citrus fruit, orange, medium banana flavor which reminds me of a German Hefeweizen, there are lemon-orange citrus, low hop bitterness, not much tartness in this drink, and this has some pepper at the finish, mouth feel is around medium with a nice creaminess, I thought the carbonation was low for a Saison Beer, no alcohol noticed on the nose or the palate, an ok drink.

Draft: Poured a golden yellow with an aroma of grass, sweet malts, and yeast. The flavor was grass, vanilla, sweet sugars, and a hint of citrus. Overall, decent saison.

Arrowhead, Deep Creek, MD - With a light golden body emits a hefty amount of flavor inducing yeast, this Saison brings a sweet, champagne -esque aroma to the nostrils while filling the tastebuds with a fruity bite. Delight to be had with this Red Sky.

Pours a fading off-white head with a hazy, straw color body. Grass, yeast, and zest on the nose. Flavor is cotton candy with notes of grass and zest. Oily, mellow, refined. Dry finish.

Light, clean gold in color. Notes of light spice. Cinnamon apple. Sweet vinegar. Not stellar, but a pretty good little saison. Love the packaging and the art too.

Sampled at the ’Butter’s Last Supper’ tasting. Pours a clear golden amber with wispy whitish head. Nose is sweet and horse sweat and wheat. Lots of bubblegum in the flavor, with vanilla, and just a touch of funk. A little syrupy on the palate. Missing the effervescence. Cool label though.
