Poured light orange with no head until I poured right down the middle to get a small white head that quickly settled. Nose is subdued, some candied cherry and banana but not much else. Body is similar, with the slightest notion of spice but nothing too unruly, hides the alcohol well. Moderate carbonation and the finish is palate coating cherry cough syrup. A good try at a style that I’m guessing is not easy to brew. RCL (1460), Waltham, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 14, 2008 Light amber pour with a creamy white head. Sweet, fruity aroma. Candied peach and citrus flavors over a nice yeasty backdrop. The higher ABV is almost totally undetectable. Very pleasant drinking. IrishBoy (2705), Bakersfield, California, USA
