| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 12, 2006 This one deserves to be rated as much as a hefeweizen as it does a saison. Poured looking like a saison, not a humungous head and the carbonation wasn’t high. It tasted and smelled like a hefe, though: all bananas with some light cloves in there. Very light peppery finish detectable if you’re looking for it, but geez, this wasn’t funky or much saison-like. Nevertheless, it was drinkable and tasted decent anyway - enough to where I couldn’t kill it because of a style miss. Yankovitch333 (612), Chesapeake City, Maryland, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 11, 2006 Pours a pale gold with a thin white head. Light fruits on the nose. Light bodied mouth. Banana, bubblegum, grapefruit, lemon, apple, and orange on the tounge. A good beer. I have only had it on draft. I drink it for free so I am NOT complaining. freekyp (900), Thomasville, North Carolina, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 8, 2006 Updated: Jun 13, 2008The aroma is musty and raisiny with a slight vinegar note. Light tight carbonation makes for a soft, but slightly prickly mouthfeel from this golden yellow brew. The usual fluffy white head of a Saison is not present. Medium-light and floral this beer ends with a lingering sweetness. Its hides its ample 8% ABV very well. maniac (2628), Richmond, Virginia, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 4, 2006 Clear pale golden color with a small white head. Sweet malt and light fruit aroma. Flavor of sweet fruit with some light spice. patrick767 (2019), fort wayne, Indiana, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 27, 2006 bottle - Pours golden and clear with fine bubbles and a thin head. The aroma is of yeast, malt, and maybe a hint of flowers. The flavor is mildly sweet with very little hops presence. There’s yeast and hint of fruit. The body is moderately thick and lively on the tongue. I wouldn’t have guessed this is 8% ABV. It’s not a great brew, but it’s pretty good. LilKem (1210), Marietta, Ohio, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 25, 2006 Updated: Jun 16, 2008Tasted again recently, I rated it exactly the same. From a bottle courtesy of lilkem. The body is medium yellow and orange. The aroma has funky cherries with wine and hay. The taste is caramel with toffee and some peaches. There is also iced tea with funky cheese rind. A decent saison.
