| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 19, 2006 A golden appearance with no head. A vinegary lemon aroma. The flavor is corny with some hay. The mouthfeel is rather oily. Not a very good saison wintersdying (49), Louisville, Kentucky, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 17, 2006 aroma is heavily yeasty with some hints of the pasture... pours faint gold with almost no head. mildly carbonated. flavor holds hints to Belgian yeasts, grass, a hint of spice... and is honestly a bit metallic in the finish. sfontain (506), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 15, 2006 Pours a pale, flat gold with nearly no head. Aroma of caramel and Belgian yeast; a touch metallic. Flavor also of Belgian yeast, slightly spicy, and a little fruity, with barely a hint of breadiness and a slight hop bitterness in the finish. Light, airy, but slightly sticky. A lame saison. OldRaspy (292), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 11, 2006 Poured from a 12oz bottle a clear yellow with a small white head that quickly disappeared. Aroma had some banana in it along with lots of spices (clove and ginger) and hops with a malt undertone. Flavor pretty much followed suit with a touch of bananas and lots of hops and spicies. The 8% is not noticable. ryan (1775), Beltsville, Maryland, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 8, 2006 Pours pale with a small, white head that fades very quickly. The aroma is Dupont yeast all the way, pepper, lemon, peach, banana, cloves and some alcohol. The flavor is moderately sweet, pepper, pears, apple, lemon and clove, becoming slightly tart at the end. Medium body, moderate carbonation. Tasty, but in need of a higher level of attenuation to be special. sammy3D (114), Lawrenceville, Georgia, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 3, 2006 Pours a nice coppery golden with a nice but quickly dissipating head. Aroma is composed of lemony apple tones with hints of a peppery belgian yeast quality. Flavor is quite saisonish with a banana spice and a hop dry finish. Doesn’t seem to be an 8% ABV brew as the alcohol is well blended. Nice and fizzy in the mouth with a refreshing feel to it. This a great gateway brew as the saison complexity is there but in a mild way that will not overwhelm your BMC drinking buddies. Odeed (1673), Bakersfield, California, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 1, 2006 12 oz bottle-bright orange with a very small soapy topping. Big ginger, spice and with some grainy malt undertones. some faint tobacco notes as well. pretty nice nose from an american version of the style. flavors are a little lite and on the grainy side. The finish is firmly tart with a nice drying feel on the tongue. the 8% is nowhere to be found. body is crisp and sweet. Makes for a very good session belgian beer if you ask me. Nice!
