Straw-colored pour, lightly active, tiny head. Clearly evident corriander-yeast aroma. Tangy mouthfeel. Sweet and tangy fruit-based flavor with an almost pear-like finish. <<Rerated from draft and after more experience ... this is a yellow-golden brew with a big stark yeasty aroma. Thick and viscous for a Saison ... now that I know it’s 8% ABV (gulp), this fits ... grapey, sweet and alcoholy. Good beer if not a bit over the top for a "saison" >>

Thanks Jeremy for letting me try this beer!! Golden color pour with a white foamy head. Sweet, floral aroma with a hint of hops and citrus. Citrusy taste...kind of sour. Some wheat as well. Overall pretty good though. Finished well too.

Medium gold body - clear and bubbly with a medium thick head. Faint aroma of flowery perfume and a hint of bready yeast. Flavors are malty with hints of butterscotch, hops, and cirtus. Slighty sour finish.

Hazy, golden body with two fingers of persistent white foam. Aroma of sweet, floral esters with light phenols, apparent hops, buttery malt, and some higher alcohol. Flavor is sweet and under-attenuated. Syrupy fullness in the body. Tastes like a sweet Tripel-Saison. Obviously American.

Hazed straw yellow, tumltuous tornado of carbonation swirls from the bottom of the glass, and goes on swirling, ...head is big and fluffy, but drfits down, smug as a cloud, with affable ease. Aroma smacks of citrus and spice from the git-go, a trifle sour and overwhelmingly lemony, with dry spices peppering the affair. Quite in line with the saison style, but without the authentic feel. Taste begins with sour citrus again, and spices dripping along the palate and all over the mouth, but behaving themselves. Quenches, then dries, and softly treads away. Lightish, but more medium in body, with significant texture, but excellent drinkability. the abv is higher than most traditional saisons, and it’s starting to show, raging alcohol peeking through what should be a gentle summery session ale. I like the label, though, pirate and parrot lounging in a makeshift hammock, as emptied bottles drift by into the sea...this is what this type of beer is meant for, lazy summer days, but this one misses the classic profile by a bit. Not as smooth, nor as succulent. Decent attempt, though, gotta give them that.

beer pours (decants) a very bright, deep gold, with a big fluffy white head that retains well and leaves bunches of lace. nose is sweet with a big clovey/phenol content, with perhaps some hop spiciness. good grassy malt flavor with some herbal hoppiness and a whole bunch of clove. also, very fizzy. a little too much clove to be really good, but a nice try.

Pours a hazy gold with a huge off white head. Aroma is sweet with apples, sugar, touch of banana and yeast. Flavor is sweet and yeasty with fruit and light spice. Lively mouth feel and nicely warming.
