An aroma that is light belgian yeast and a bit spicy but not special. A flavor that is lightly corriander but not the hard push you would hope for. A slightly less than aggressive carbonation that you would expect. All round a decent beer. If I had made it I would be tickled, but I’m not a pro. Decent offering. sebletitje (1995), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 11, 2008 Being from Belgium, I could not help but try to recognize this typical yeast smell. It sure felt like a taste from home, a beer I had tried before.
The smell reminded me of the Barbar beer brewed nearby my own town.
Red Sky offers a little fizzy/creamy aftertaste that’s actually very nice on the palate.
Honey and a sugary taste are present in this beer.
Pours a golden colorwith a thick creamy head.
It is a very god addition to the Heavy Seas treasure chest. I was very impressed by it.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 1, 2006 12 oz bottle-bright orange with a very small soapy topping. Big ginger, spice and with some grainy malt undertones. some faint tobacco notes as well. pretty nice nose from an american version of the style. flavors are a little lite and on the grainy side. The finish is firmly tart with a nice drying feel on the tongue. the 8% is nowhere to be found. body is crisp and sweet. Makes for a very good session belgian beer if you ask me. Nice! scraff (1955), Baltimore, Maryland, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 2, 2004 Golden color(tiny bit of haze), creamy white head. Cotton candy, pear and coriander for aroma. Flavor is lightly spiced fuzzy fruits and bready. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, spicy, fruity, sweet finish. Another nice effort in the Heavy Seas line. Doppelbock and Imperial Stout on deck...I think. Either way...I’m looking forward to the next release. MilkmanDan (1940), Eagan, Minnesota, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 20, 2006 I believe kmweaver sent this to me a very long time ago as a freebie. I finally got around to it. Clear golden orange, moderate head, poor lacing. Aroma is spices, pepper, light caramel. Drinkable, some alcohol in the finish. Overall pretty boring for a saison though. Not bad, just not that interesting. AmEricanbrew (1932), orange, California, USA
