Sweet and yeasty aroma, quite fruity and mildly spicy. Pretty nice saison flavors, candi sugar and peaches up front then a dry bready malt towards the end. Medium full body. Nice beer overall. I was doubtful, but color me impressed. ucusty (1887), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 1, 2007 Poured a hazy yellow amber with a white medium creamy head. The aroma is slightly fruity, spicy, a mild sourness, and a tad yeasty. The flavor is sour, spicy, some citrusy, basementy, and earthy. The palate was eh. Follows the Clipper City paradigm, not very good but not a disaster either. mgumby10 (1858), Jupiter, Florida, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 21, 2007 Pours a bubbly orange with a very thin white head. Not a very big nose on this one. A little citrus and spices, light orange. Taste is pretty decent. Cinnamon spice is the most dominant in this flavor in this one. Relatively smooth. Not extremely complex. Pretty refreshing. I definitely prefer the Belgian saisons much more, but this one wasnt too shabby. DrnkMcDermott (1848), Downers Grove, Illinois, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 9, 2005 Bottled. "Best by" notch at April 2005. Nice bright gold color under a thin fizzy head. Pleasant beery, slighty tart smell, perhaps a tad of skunk from its age. Bottle-conditioned, and pouring kicked up a bit of dead yeast. Still, it’s spritzy, with lemon and cherry, and just a touch of cinnamon and clove. A tad alcoholic with post-bottling fermentation. Nice light Pils malts, a very pretty pour. Despite its age, it shows and tastes very nicely. Sham (1846), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 4, 2004 Gold, with a small head of white, slightly creay. No lacing really, just a couple of spots. Aromas of citrus, mostly orange, but there is some lemon. Coriander and some floral hops spice it up a bit. There is a sourdough aroma, a bit funky and yeasty. Strong coriander in the flavor. Citrus right behind that. Lemons more here. There is a creamy maltiness abundant. Finishes smooth with a bitter bite. Not too bad.
