| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 6, 2006 Clear gold, small white cap. Cross a belgian ale, saison, and a biere de garde and this what you’d get. Crisp and grainy with a light dose of funk. Not complex at all. Very drinkable, though. Light/medium, balanced body. A nice session brew to get your buzz on a little quicker. drowland (1407), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 19, 2007 Clear, somewhat foul looking orange appearance. A pretty blatant urinal aroma. Less obvious hints of pear skins, pineapple juice, grasses. Tastes of bananas, paper, obscure spices. Weirdly fruity with a motionless, tired attitude. Bland, wedding party cocktails made with fraternity liquors, and sauvignon blanc. Palate retains this difficult sweetness with a bite of sourness and maybe salt. Dry, gin like finish. Not disgusting, but not quite right. Thanks Steve! DragonStout (1380), Pataskala, Ohio, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 21, 2007 Pours a nice amber color with a small white head.Aroma has some spice on the nose. This is a poor repersentation of this style. Most saisons to me ar refreshing, not this one.Flavors of wet cardboard with a sticky mouthfeel.Totally dissapointed. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | May 14, 2007 Pours a shockingly clear yellowy color with very little head. This sucker looks a lot like a pale lager but fortunately smells like a saison. Some funky yeasty notes in the aroma with a bit of allspice. Flavor is surprisingly fruity, like banana fruity. Almost heffeweizen fruity with a spicy finish and a fairly smooth and unsaisony mouthfeel. I can drink stuff like this all day, even if it is mediocre. igneous1 (1374), Davenport, Iowa, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 18, 2004 clear medium golden, no head from my bottle. aroma is a little clove, a lot of candied sugar, spot of bubblegum. intially a little sour, some alcohol, more sugar, moderate spicing (little pepper in the finish). not that typical of a classic saison, in my opinion, e.g. pipaix, but still pretty good. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 22, 2006 12oz bottle, Pour was amber-golden with small white head. Nose was spice, peper, and citrus. On the taste, banana comes out in the nose?, and there is very little % on this. Nice.
