Commercial Description:
Pils, Carapils, and wheat malts, Belgian candi sugar
Magnum and Styrian Goldings Hops
This beer is brewed in the Belgian Saison style (country farm house ale). A potent yet delicate ale, brewed with a unique Belgian yeast which develops a spicy, fruity flavor. Enormously complex. Available from May to around August.

Pours a hazy gold, with some amber and a white head. Aroma of wheat, spice, hops, bread. Taste is also of wheat, spice, and bread. Finish is a little bitter and a little dry. Mouth is pretty carbonated and body is medium.

Wacky but incomprehensible cartoon on the label of this Clipper City Brewing product. Floral, hoppy aroma and a nice orange color. Interesting flavor that clearly has a Belgian character - flavors of raisins and melon, a little on the sweet side. Well-hopped and with a clean finish. I like the Heavy Seas brews I have tried so far.

bottle. not bad, but not very exciting. Not really that dynamic and I tend to agree with the other ratings that this is more of a tripel than a saison. And a kinda boring tripel at that. It pours a light golden with no head. Some spice and yeast in the aroma. Medium body. Spicy on the tip, but muted. Although this beer is not that exciting, it is very drinkable and you don’t really pick up on it being close to 8%.

Draught at Birreria Paradiso. Hazy straw colored. Aroma of freshly mown grass. Light spice toward the middle, balanced bitter finish. Nice example of the style.

bottle: pours a sparkling apple juice colour with nothing more than a thin white line for a head. aroma is slightly funky with plenty of wheat malt that is sweet. flavour is wheat mostly with some vegetable like taste and just a hint of spice and bread in the finish. overall an ok beer seems very wheaty to me though with out anything else really jumping out.

12 oz. Bottle. Clear golden with a thin head and little lacing. Earth and sugar with some alcohol in the nose. Nice earth, spice and lemon in the flavor. Creamy texture. Hides alcohol well. Very drinkable.

Pours a clear golden orange color with a foamy white head that settles into a thin lace. Fruity aroma with hints of apple, pear, cloves, spice, banana and bread. Very crisp and quaffable with golden fruit flavor (apple, pear banana), spice, cloves, bread, cherries and strawberry.

(USA) Courtesy of AFI96, Hazy golden color with med white head. There was a flowery aroma to this one with a kinda strong spicy / clove taste. It was ok, but not very impressed.
