Commercial Description:
Pils, Carapils, and wheat malts, Belgian candi sugar
Magnum and Styrian Goldings Hops
This beer is brewed in the Belgian Saison style (country farm house ale). A potent yet delicate ale, brewed with a unique Belgian yeast which develops a spicy, fruity flavor. Enormously complex. Available from May to around August.

Orangey body with a rocky head. Lots of lace. Aroma is malty with touches of fruit (currants?), yeast, and herbal spice. Light pricky carbonation, with malty/fruity flavors. Yeasty finish. Decent saison, leaning, IMO, towards being a biere de mars.

Clear amber brew lots of carbonation, small foamy white head. Aroma is grassy and bread. Bitter sweet malts dominate the flavor, very gentle warmth kind of pepper like warmth. Funky aftertaste.

I have just learned the Belgian beer are not my style. The fruity flavor is just not my first choice in beers. The beer is too sweet and no hops. The spicy beer is not of my liking.

Mild for a saison, sweet fruityness. Not as carbinated as i would have liked. Could have been a little more fruity.

Bottle. This beer is rather sweet for the style, not as spicy as some, a nice beer that does not give full hint of its alcohol content. Slightly off colored gold, Not much head or lacing

Bottle. A light clear orange yellow pour with a big fluffy white head, lively carbonation. Aroma is lightly sweet and spicy,a bit of the funk, hints of apple. Flavor is very good, nice malty sweetness, honey, apple, pepper, clove, nice yeastyness, medium body, sharp bubbly mouthfeel, long finish with a spicy aftertaste, very sessionable.

This is a hearty, full-bodied beer that is a good go-to beer. A spicy yeast flavor, it is not overbearing, but strong to the palate.

Fruity with lots of esters and some fusel alcohols. Apple, raspberry, peach flavor. Some spice, but not enough. Has that feel you get in your mouth after you eat an apple. Either that, or from a Jolly Rancher. Either way, it’s unpleasant on the palate. Just because you ferment a beer at warm temperatures, that doesn’t make it a saison.
