| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 9, 2006 Sweet malt scents of cotton candy pear, and bubblegum. Not much head, golden unfiltered look. Moderate head. Lightly carbonated and medium body. Average Belgian style with an extremely sweet finish that covers the alcohol nicely. Still not one of my favorite styles but a decent attempt. italianjohn (394), Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 9, 2009 Arrowhead, Deep Creek, MD - With a light golden body emits a hefty amount of flavor inducing yeast, this Saison brings a sweet, champagne -esque aroma to the nostrils while filling the tastebuds with a fruity bite. Delight to be had with this Red Sky. Scubatrip (388), Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 10, 2005 Pours a pale yellow from the bottle with a bubbly white head that soon fades away. Not very strong aromas, but small amounts of melon, maybe honeydew and a little front lawn. Taste is sweet, and a little strong. Some cherry and wheat. Similar to a Killian’s or heavy, fruity heffeweizen. A little too heavy and strong, but befitting of the name. Although I have a feeling that tomorrow won’t be a sailor’s delight. Light sour aroma. Almost wheaty in the nose.
Relatively dry, warm alcohol. Similar to the smell in that there is a sour finish. Not as flavorful as most saisons. In fact, it’s pretty run-of-the-mill. bobaidan (370), Farmington, Connecticut, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 9, 2006 Pours crystal clear gold with a tiny white head. Aroma is fruity with citrus hints. Flavor is citrus with maybe some coriander. Tastes much like a witte, but with the addition of grassy hop flavors. 8% abv ? You would never know it by the taste as there is no noticeable alcohol presence. A very good drinking beer. Light and refreshing.
