Commercial Description:
Pils, Carapils, and wheat malts, Belgian candi sugar
Magnum and Styrian Goldings Hops
This beer is brewed in the Belgian Saison style (country farm house ale). A potent yet delicate ale, brewed with a unique Belgian yeast which develops a spicy, fruity flavor. Enormously complex. Available from May to around August.

Light transparent yellow with small head and no lacing. Aroma and flavor are rich with spices and fruits. It was very sweet with pumpkin or banana notes. Really great all around. A beer doesn’t need to be darker than dirt or have "imperial stout" in the name to be good..

Golden pour with small head. Some hints of caramel and spice in aroma, flavor is spicy and hoppy and watery. Very metallic in the finish which did not help at all.

Bottle. The sweet and sour thing is evident in both the aroma and taste as mentioned below, nice balance. Earthy aftertaste. Got better as it warmed.

beer pours (decants) a very bright, deep gold, with a big fluffy white head that retains well and leaves bunches of lace. nose is sweet with a big clovey/phenol content, with perhaps some hop spiciness. good grassy malt flavor with some herbal hoppiness and a whole bunch of clove. also, very fizzy. a little too much clove to be really good, but a nice try.

Poured from a 12-oz bottle into a pint glass a nice clear golden color with a thin white head. A faint aroma of fresh grains. Taste was much stronger than the smell, with spicy grassy hops coming through along with candy suger leading to a nice dry finish. Beer just got better as it warmed as the flavors became more pronounced.

A nice saison, more fruity than I expected, but don’t worrry folks....it is not a lambic or anything! Not a knock-your-socks off saison with wild yeast flavors that explode in your mouth, but overall a good Belgian inspired brew.

Pours pale golden color. Aroma is very mild or "delicate" some banana, spices, and malt. Flavor was a bit floral and spicy, but overall corn syrupy.
