| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 28, 2006 12-oz. bottle from artusory. Pours a clean deep gold with an edgy white head, mostly dissipating. Aroma is heavy yeast (dough, earth), spices, grass and straw-hay, faint peach and apricot nose. Mildly acidic and bitter, mild sweet candied sugars, yeast abounds with peppery spices jumping around, malty finish. Light bodied, crisp and fizzy, spicy palate. I am generally excited to see American brewers attempt such traditional styles as saisons and other ales. Clipper City does a fair job with this one. TomDecapolis (3221), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma was very fruity, green apple, peach, some citrus but predominetly apple. Flavor was slighty tart apple, some yeast and lighter spcies. Sweet on the palate. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Dec 19, 2004 Bottle. Clear gold with nice head that settles into a shallow puddle of thin scum. Aroma is malt, banana and spices. Taste is saison-like with typical flavors of yeast, banana and malt but there’s no real substance to this. Too much candi sugars. They taste is a bit cloying and undercarbonated. hotstuff (3183), Indiana, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 23, 2006 Bottle. Very small white fizzy head that mostly diminished, sparse lacing, carbonated, transparent, and a yellow hue. Nose was some malt notes, light hoppiness, sweet, oranges, bananas, note of pepper, spicy, and clove. Flavor was sweet, somewhat sour, lightly malty, lightly hoppy, spicy, bananas, and clove. Tingly mouthfeel. Medium body. This is a complex beer with a lot going on. TheBeerGod (3177), Newport News, Virginia, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 5, 2004 Golden blond with a small white head. Aroma seems very wit-like to me, but has an odd straw and fruit mix to it. Not as funky or "natural" as a Belgian saison. But not bad either. Taste is predominantly fruit, an odd spice I can’t detect, yeast and a hint of alcohol. It’s only now that I realize it is over 8%. Mouthfeel is slightly carbonated but very smooth and drinkable. Finish is a bit grainy and spicy. Good beer, nonetheless! PorterPounder (3148), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 9, 2007 Tallahassee, Fl. - Market Sqaure Liquors - 12 oz bottle. Dark golden. slightly murky pour with a slight white head - thin lacing. Alcoholy aroma with hints of cloves and bubble gum. Sticky flavor with some bubble gum, candied sugar and banana with a spicy back end. Kind of like a strong American Wheat. Alcohol apparant. Sticky mouthfeel, but slightly harsh. Overall, decent. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 25, 2008 Draft at Pizzeria Paradiso in Georgetown. Poured a clear golden color. Head was white with good retention and lacing. Aroma was of banana and clove. Slightly sweet and light bodied. The flavor was similar to the aroma with the addition of honey. Not exactly Saison-ish in my mind, but decent. WeeHeavySD (3042), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 15, 2009 12oz. Pours orange with a thin tan head. Nose is sweet and peppery. Taste is sweet, peppery and all in all not a terrible saison styled brew. Not really feeling it right now, but its not horrid.
