It is a little bitter, wheaty, a bit sweet but not too sweet, and very smooth, with a crisp finish. This is the second saison I have had, and I am liking them more and more. There is an excellent blend of flavors that complement each other well. blipp (1700), Newark, New Jersey, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 9, 2009 Draft from a cask. Pours a hazy yellow brown with a small, foamy, white head. Spruce, must, and spice in the nose. Spruce again on the palate with yeast, must, soap, a bit of citrus (grapefruit?), and citrus fruit sweetness. Low carbonation with a medium-light mouthfeel. Medium short finish with a little pithy taste lingering on the tongue. An enjoyable brew worth trying.
