Aug 26, 2005 Medium gold body - clear and bubbly with a medium thick head. Faint aroma of flowery perfume and a hint of bready yeast. Flavors are malty with hints of butterscotch, hops, and cirtus. Slighty sour finish.

May 8, 2005 Fairly good hop aroma. Fairly yeasty in the body with a certain amount of grassiness. Nice and light. I would never have guessed it was 8%.

Oct 26, 2008 Cloudy pale yellow pour with a small white ring of suds for a head. Despite being cloudy, you can still see the debris from the lack of filtering. The aroma is flowery, and very belgian. The flavor is true to the aroma, nice and flowery. The finish is quick and crisp. The body is lighter then the aroma leads you to expect. A pretty good beer.

Aug 26, 2005 Hazy, golden body with two fingers of persistent white foam. Aroma of sweet, floral esters with light phenols, apparent hops, buttery malt, and some higher alcohol. Flavor is sweet and under-attenuated. Syrupy fullness in the body. Tastes like a sweet Tripel-Saison. Obviously American.

Aug 14, 2005 beer pours (decants) a very bright, deep gold, with a big fluffy white head that retains well and leaves bunches of lace. nose is sweet with a big clovey/phenol content, with perhaps some hop spiciness. good grassy malt flavor with some herbal hoppiness and a whole bunch of clove. also, very fizzy. a little too much clove to be really good, but a nice try.

Apr 18, 2008 Gold with a small white head. Big Belgian yeast nose with some banana and clove. Sweet fruitiness coupled with that slight saison tartness and some spice. Very light for 8%. Very nice.

Nov 22, 2004 Bottle: Bright, clear golden yellow with a small white head that quickly disapates to a tiny ring that all but disappears. Aroma: spicey pine, yeast, allspice, anise, citrus, with a hint of pepper & caramel. Taste: Initially bitter, then sweet, then sour....just a bit too much syrupy sweetness overall. There’s notes of spicey yeast, caramel candy, mild anise, apple, pear, banana. Not bad. I wish it were unfiltered, then I could give it a higher rating for appearance and possibly taste...
