Jul 23, 2007 Light transparent yellow with small head and no lacing. Aroma and flavor are rich with spices and fruits. It was very sweet with pumpkin or banana notes. Really great all around. A beer doesn’t need to be darker than dirt or have "imperial stout" in the name to be good..

Jul 18, 2008 Not the best saison out there, but still worth a pick up. Pours slightly cloudy gold color, with a thin head. Aroma is mostly spice with some fruits, taste is typical saison, with the exception of a bit of an alcohol bite at the end.

Oct 29, 2008 Updated: Oct 30, 200812 oz, very slightly murky yellow-orange, and needs a little more violent pour to release a marshmallowy slowly dissipating head. Caught some apple peel, sugar, tart cherries. Sweet/tart with spice, giving way to a nicely gradual bitter iron finish.

Apr 3, 2008 Not overpowering but not simplistic. Drank this after a big meal and really liked it. If you are used to other CC fare (like Hop3) you might find this a little less complex, but don’t hold that against it.... it’s certainly worth a try while it’s around!

Jun 10, 2004 Nice spice, possibly allspice? Sweet but not heavy or alcoholic. This would make a great summer beer as long as it’s not too hot. Refreshing.

Aug 22, 2004 Pours a clear golden with a medium sized, thinly lacing white head. Aroma of sweet caramel malt, candi sugar, and a very authentic Belgian yeast character. Starts mild and candy sweet with a drier and warming, semi-tart finish. This is a very true to style beer which I didn’t quite expect. Could be a touch smoother toward the finish, but this is still quite drinkable. Many thanks to jeffc666 for this!

Jul 13, 2008 Faintly cloudy orange, with a nice constant carbonation. Mellow perfuey, citrusy aroma. Flavor is tart and winey. Not sure how typical of the style is, but it is tasty and refreshing.
