Commercial Description:
Malts: German Pils and Carapils
Hops: Amarillo, Saaz, Hersbrucker and Tettnang
We call this beer an Uber Pils - a pilsner style bock lager. Rich, malty, and well rounded but with a firm structure of noble hops. Surprisingly pale in color for such a powerful, complex beer. Available year round beginning Feb. 05.

Pours a golden haze. Aroma of floral hops and malt. Medium-bodied with a flavor that is well balanced. Initial that taste is smooth but is halted nicely by a hops finish. This is a really awesome lightweight brew.

Pours a very clear deep gold, with a small but dense white head that leaves a fair lace. Aroma is very malty, with some alcohol, hints of hops, and some unfortunate green apple character. Hops are faint. Flavor is very malty, with a good balance from alcohol and some mild hops. Hops come through much stronger in the tail, leaving a lingering pleasant bitterness and warmth to beg for more.

Pours a gold color. The noble hops are very apparent. This one has a little more of a malt backbone so the "uber pils" moniker fits in that respect. Unfortunately any pils is going to be a little boring due to its nature. This one is no different.

Bottle. Pours slight hazy, gold with a little orange, small head, seems to have good carbonation. Aroma is slightly grainy, little bit of butterscotch, little bit fruity. Flavor is closer to what it should be, but there are fruity off-flavors. Has a good, crisp hop finish, and grassy aftertaste.

12oz. Pours fairly clear, deep orange with an off-white head. Very aromatic, exciting nose. Relatively big body, good carbonation but still strikes me as a bit soft. Lots of good fruit, loads of malt and a good hop on the finish. Hardly recognizable as a lager. Very tasty, this big pilsner has the malt backbone many of this style do not.

bottle. pours a clear light orange amber with a one finger even white head. full flavored, creamy malt with fruit tones. apple, pear. great carbonation gives it a nice finishing edge. alcohol not at all apparent. because of the sweetness, its best with a good chill on it. a really nice lager. liked this one a lot.
