Commercial Description:
Malts: German Pils and Carapils
Hops: Amarillo, Saaz, Hersbrucker and Tettnang
We call this beer an Uber Pils - a pilsner style bock lager. Rich, malty, and well rounded but with a firm structure of noble hops. Surprisingly pale in color for such a powerful, complex beer. Available year round beginning Feb. 05.

Pours crystal clear gold with half inch bright white head. The aroma comes off as both floral and citrus hops, some hints of malts sweetness and slight grainy malts. This beer has a crisp floral hop taste that grows into soft and semi sweet grapefruit hops. The hops are the main player in the flavor and aroma but they are not over the top like in a typical hoppy IPA. The flavor then blends into a malt sweetness creating a sort of sweet citrus and floral hop taste. It could use a bit more malt depth. But it is a good brew though.

Bottle from the Heavy Seas Sampler. Great balance in this beer. The pour is golden copper with a small head, good lacing. Aroma is strong hops and some citrus. Mouth feel is nice, good carbination. Flavor is sweet malts, and sharp hops. A very crisp and smooth finish, with hops coming to the front of the aftertaste. Alcohol content is hidden well beneath the combinations of flavors.

I enjoy this beer very much. It has a deep golden color and a faint aroma of various hops...Tastes like a light version of victory’s prima pils, which is a good thing. suprisingly high alc content per taste and great marketing. All around good beer and i cant wait to try some more Clipper City brews as this was my first.

Tap at Barcade. Hazy amber beer with a fine-laced off-white head. Aroma of honey and sweet pale malt. A bit of grassy/citrusy hops and a bit of light peachy character as well. Flavour is balanced but a little on the sweet and honeyish side. Slightly sticky sweetness with a bit of apricot, melon and lighter fruity flavours. OK, but if this is supposed to be a pils or imperial pils they need to ramp up the hops.
