Commercial Description:
Malts: German Pils and Carapils
Hops: Amarillo, Saaz, Hersbrucker and Tettnang
We call this beer an Uber Pils - a pilsner style bock lager. Rich, malty, and well rounded but with a firm structure of noble hops. Surprisingly pale in color for such a powerful, complex beer. Available year round beginning Feb. 05.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop marked buy before Aug 06 poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that was and left behind a transparent softly carbonated orange brown colored body and a fair lacing. The aroma was malty and hoppy favoring the hops. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt hops spices and mild wheat. A decent one but not one that I would consider buying again.

Bottle. Thx to WB I believe. Aroma was malty and light hops smelled like pils to me. Poured a golden yellow. Flavor was toasted malts light hops. Palate was ok nothing stood out to me. Overall it was ok but I’ll pass on another.

12-oz.; thanks, BeachBum25! Wow, this is a great pils! Or is it a strong lager? I guess they make themselves look pretty sharp labelling it as a pils. Big saaz aroma on top of a mountainous white head and a beautiful light amber body. Nice clean drinkable malt backbone with a gentle lightly herbal hop finish. Great stuff.

This is just a straight American style pilsner as far as I’m concerned. Clear golden color with a frothy white head. Tastes like honey with smooth, lightly toasted malt and hay. Exceptionally smooth and rich mouthfeel, increasing the sensation of honey. Sturdy, but not aggressive bitterness in the finish. Interesting combination of hop flavors includes peach, grapefruit, mint, lemon and herbal spice. I like the use of Amarillo to give a different take on a familiar style.

Deep ruddy gold with lazy bubbles and a lasting, lumpy paper-white head. Lucious spicy noble hop aroma backed by floral, honey, and malt character. Flavor is thick with chewy malt. Accents of honey and flowers again, caramel, breadcrust, and candied fruits. Certainly decoction mashed. Assertive, grapey alcohol flavor akin to cognac or grappa. Smooth and full-bodied with an almost dry finish. Friendly back-of-throat bitter aftertaste and menthol ethanol coolness. Sublime balance between sweet malt and herbal hop bitterness. Exceptional !

Clear, thick, golden body with a thin, white head. The aroma definitely reminds me of a pilsner: the clean, biscuity malt and grassy, earthy hop character. The hops are a little more subdued than in my experience for this style, but they’re still tasty and quite floral. The body is thick and, while not sticky, a little sweet. The sweet malt is balanced by the increased hopping and the higher alcohol. Tasty and definitely enjoyable. Probably a little easier to drink than most Imperial Pils. Thanks a lot Ken!

via trade with Beerdrenched - Pours a clear golden color with a small off white head. Light spotty lacing. Has a light grassy hop aroma. Has a lightly sweet malt flavor with some lingering bitterness. A smooth, medium body beer. Pretty good. Thanks Eric
