Commercial Description:
Malts: German Pils and Carapils
Hops: Amarillo, Saaz, Hersbrucker and Tettnang
We call this beer an Uber Pils - a pilsner style bock lager. Rich, malty, and well rounded but with a firm structure of noble hops. Surprisingly pale in color for such a powerful, complex beer. Available year round beginning Feb. 05.

This is may first Clipper City beer. I had just heard about this brewery and purchased a bottle to try. The label on the bottle is unique. The head was white and limited lacing. The first sip was like an IPA. Then the beer settled down. The body was meduiun with a slighly bitter finish. This beer grew on me as the time passed.

Pours a golden color with a thick white head. Aroma is of fruit, sweet malts, and very little hops. Flavor starts off with sweet malt and grain and finishes with the fruit and floral hops. A decent lager but not my favorite.

The beer pours a clear gold with a white head with medium retention. Aroma has a nice wmooth maltiness along with a pleasant floral hoppy aroma. The beer is medium bodied with light / medium carbonation. The taste is initial that of a pilsner (sweet malt and smooth grain), but the finish is fully with pleasant rich floral hops like that of an nice ale. This beer is not true to any style and is all the better for it. An enjoyable beer worth checking out.

Once again, another beer that tastes much smaller than it really is. Pours a clear gold with a white head. The aroma is slightly grassy noble hops. The malt is a little on the sweet side. It’s not bad though.

12 oz. bottle. Small head, sweet flavor of malt, and hops. Sweet taste of honey, with malt. Nice finish.

honey colored with a small creamy head. smells very nice. sweet malts, grains, and flowery hops in aroma. medium bodied. sweet creamy palate. the hops are pretty strong. a also taste honey and plenty of malt. alcohol shows through a little in the end which made it hard to drink after it warmed.

In the bottle. Thanks to Springslicker for the beer! Pours a solid gold color with a fine white head producing excellent clingy lace. Very fun aroma of brash biting hop, not floral sweetness. Flavor is strong upfront with a powerful sweetness that overwhelms you with the malt. Not sure I could ever think of this as a pilsner, even if über.
