Commercial Description:
Malts: German Pils and Carapils
Hops: Amarillo, Saaz, Hersbrucker and Tettnang
We call this beer an Uber Pils - a pilsner style bock lager. Rich, malty, and well rounded but with a firm structure of noble hops. Surprisingly pale in color for such a powerful, complex beer. Available year round beginning Feb. 05.

Poures a cloudy golden color with a nice fluffy head that sticks round for a while. Aroma of hops and citrus. Flavor is of hops and citrus with the hops balencing out the malts nicely. It ends with a slightly bitter and sweet feel to it. The mouth is crisp, refreshing and very satisfying. The 7.5% is well hidden and feels light for a "Strong Lager." Very good brew.

Bottle. A light peppery hops and malt aroma. Orange yellow with small head. Slightly sweet - hint of peach - initially with a mild alcohol burn and moderate hops finish. Surprisingly light for a strong lager - smooth with little indication of the alcohol level in the taste - Über Pils is a great description.

12oz The Heavy Seas line from Clipper City has not disappointed me and the Small Craft Warning is another solid beer. This is a very solid pils with mostly German ingredients hence the "uber" title. The flavor is very complex for a pils with considerable malt structure and just enough hops. This brew is very drinkable and highly recommended.

Poured from a 12oz bottle a deep golden color with a small white head that dissapated quickly. Aroma was a bit malty with a touch of yeast and a very nice citrusy hop nose. Flavor was complex with malts and hops, this one finished with a sweet bitterness.

12oz. bottle. I’m a sucker for a substantial or "imperial" pilsner and I’ve really liked this one since I had it back when it was first released. Pours pale yellow with an intense blast of concentrated Saaz hops on the nose. The flavour is peppery, a touch syrupy, and certainly herbaceous. The beer really shows of the utmost potential of the hops used while maintaining a balance of malt and bitterness. A standard around my house.

Dark gold, with a thick, foamy head. Grainy, hoppy aroma. Nicely full bodied, with farily assertive hop bite. Crisp, spicy hops in th finish, as well. Would have never suspected the 7.5% abv, either. Thanks to Springslicker for sharing this one.

This brewer is a bit hit or miss with me. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark honey color with a medium sized yellow-tan head. The aroma is lightly sweet and vaguely spicy. The flavor is sweet, lightly fruity and has a strong spicy hop presence with a peppery finish. Not bad.
