Commercial Description:
Malts: German Pils and Carapils
Hops: Amarillo, Saaz, Hersbrucker and Tettnang
We call this beer an Uber Pils - a pilsner style bock lager. Rich, malty, and well rounded but with a firm structure of noble hops. Surprisingly pale in color for such a powerful, complex beer. Available year round beginning Feb. 05.

nice golden color with a medium white head. very soapy floral hops happening here. Lots of hops in the body, nothing special, but still good.

Golden yellow orange. Small head of medium bubles quickly diminishes to a small ring and a little island of foam. Nose is nice and floral but w/ a little unpleasant grassiness around the edges. Flavor is mostly just simple and sweet w/ a bit of honey like complexity. Strong bitterness in the finish comes of a bit harsh along w/ a bit of an alcohol burn on the back of the throat. Rather full mouthfeel w/ a lightly syrupy firmness to it. Thinking about it, it seems to be a rather good beer but something about it doesn’t click.

Bottle labeled has Uber Pils and bought at Chevy Chase: Hazed golden hue with a small head and minimal lace. The aroma has notes of grassy and noble hops, light honey and pils malting, with just a hint of peppery spice notes. The taste starts clean and crisp moderate bittering hops balanced by the pale malt and soem vanilla undertone. A staright forward and very drinkable brew. I would have never guessed the ABV, very well hidden. Enjoyable and dangerously refreshing.

Golden body with minimal visible carbonation, very fine particulate matter, and a sudsy white head that receded to a fine sheet. Aroma of cut tangerines, fresh hay, and alcohol. Flavor is of stone and citrus fruits plus warm, spicy hops and a light grassy aspect. Decent balance of unattenuated sweetness and woody bitterness. A good strong lager with dismissible hints of malt liquor.

Pour is a almost cloudy yellow with a white head. Aroma is a super hoppy and sweetness. Flavor is a bit weak but there are some malts and hops in there to let you guess what is used. Not a trace of the high alcohol makes this an even better brew. I getting to love this brewer!

bottle-pours light orange with a small dimishing white lumpy head and ghostly lacing. very hoppy aroma upfront with citric tones and some pine. the amarillo really shines for this beer being a pils. Underneth the citrus there is spicy saaz in there as well. flavros are citric, piney, lots of malt sweetness. this is really not tasting like a pils/lager at all for the most part. substancial hop notes for this style. thick, slick, somewhat oily palate that really beneifts here. more a pale ale with some german hops thrown in the mix for good measure. a very nice beer and a great bargan. I will revisit this beer soon!

A pretty surprisingly strong pils. Very complex with a nice balance of hops and malt. A nice surprise as I was not expecting that much from this brewery. Nice aroma as well. A strong brew too.
