Light gold pour thats fairly hazy with a nice whitish head. Hoppy, Amarillo seems to dominate with alot of citrus and pine. Flavor is hoppy as well but lacking the body of a IPA. Very bitter with to much pine and resin for my tastes. Seems a little to resiny/syrupy for me. SuIIy (1452), Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, USA

Flavors are hoppy pine and sticky syrupy resin with a yeasty feel and some golden caramel and sweet malt notes. WakeandBake (430), Greenville, Michigan, USA

It’s a relatively interesting brew. It has a ’heavy’ aroma. Pours golden yellow with a slight haze...Light head that dissipated quickly. Medium bodied with a relatively smooth and sweet taste. The 7% alcohol is well hidden. I’m not a lager guy, but this is very drinkable. Definately worth a try! guyinchicago (528), marengo, Illinois, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 30, 2009 Bottle. Poured translucent dark gold, 1/3 inch of white foam head that produced good lacing. Aroma honey, apple and pear esters, floral and spicy hops, very flowery. Flavor had a pale malt backbone, slight apple and bubblegum notes, clove, honey, spicy hops. It also had a much nicer body than most lagers; heavier than most but not enough to destroy the more delicate flavors present. I usually hate lagers but this was really good.
