Commercial Description:
Malts: German Pils and Carapils
Hops: Amarillo, Saaz, Hersbrucker and Tettnang
We call this beer an Uber Pils - a pilsner style bock lager. Rich, malty, and well rounded but with a firm structure of noble hops. Surprisingly pale in color for such a powerful, complex beer. Available year round beginning Feb. 05.

Not really my style but I gave this a shot anyways. Light gold pour thats fairly hazy with a nice whitish head. Hoppy, Amarillo seems to dominate with alot of citrus and pine. Flavor is hoppy as well but lacking the body of a IPA. Very bitter with to much pine and resin for my tastes. Seems a little to resiny/syrupy for me.

draft at Piccos. Pour is a bright golden hazy color with a white head. Nose is pretty hoppy, kinda piney and sticky with also a yeast note. Palate is full with a clean finish. Flavors are hoppy pine and sticky syrupy resin with a yeasty feel and some golden caramel and sweet malt notes.

Bottle . A nice golden/orange color body with a two finger offwhite head, light to medium carbonation , light lacing. Aroma is sweet and fairly hoppy with just a hint of alcohol in the nose. Flavor is sweet and malty up frong with a nice level of bitterness, a little citrus rind, some peppery spice hints, faint honey. Medium body with a full slightly sticky mouthfeel fruity aftertaste, a smooth dinker.

12oz....from my parents fridge....where they came across it....who knows? It’s a relatively interesting brew. It has a ’heavy’ aroma. Pours golden yellow with a slight haze...Light head that dissipated quickly. Medium bodied with a relatively smooth and sweet taste. The 7% alcohol is well hidden. I’m not a lager guy, but this is very drinkable. Definately worth a try!

Bottle. Poured translucent dark gold, 1/3 inch of white foam head that produced good lacing. Aroma honey, apple and pear esters, floral and spicy hops, very flowery. Flavor had a pale malt backbone, slight apple and bubblegum notes, clove, honey, spicy hops. It also had a much nicer body than most lagers; heavier than most but not enough to destroy the more delicate flavors present. I usually hate lagers but this was really good.

Pours a hazy orange with a white head. Nose of grassy hops, bread and malts. Flavor is not as hoppy as the nose, but still a pretty darn good lager. Light bodied.
