Commercial Description:
Malts: German Pils and Carapils
Hops: Amarillo, Saaz, Hersbrucker and Tettnang
We call this beer an Uber Pils - a pilsner style bock lager. Rich, malty, and well rounded but with a firm structure of noble hops. Surprisingly pale in color for such a powerful, complex beer. Available year round beginning Feb. 05.

Bottle. Poured translucent dark gold, 1/3 inch of white foam head that produced good lacing. Aroma honey, apple and pear esters, floral and spicy hops, very flowery. Flavor had a pale malt backbone, slight apple and bubblegum notes, clove, honey, spicy hops. It also had a much nicer body than most lagers; heavier than most but not enough to destroy the more delicate flavors present. I usually hate lagers but this was really good.

Pours a hazy orange with a white head. Nose of grassy hops, bread and malts. Flavor is not as hoppy as the nose, but still a pretty darn good lager. Light bodied.

A pretty decent lager. Not hoppy enough for my taste. A bit sweet. Medium golden color, nice head. Faorly light body.

[1919-20081222] 12floz bottle. Ice wine honey aroma with light yeastiness. Slightly hazy, medium orange body with a quick white head and some floating sediment. Bland bandaid pine wood flavour has a wine finish. Medium body. Fair.
Overheard: "Can strip some paint with that." "Is that a good thing?"

Decent, not especially pilsener tasting. Drank right before the Sam Adams Imperial Pils. This one was much weaker and much less hoppy. Surprisingly light tasting and light bodied. Lightly sweet with a reasonably crisp finish. Pretty drinkable overall.

Aroma is notably moderate hops. The color is a dark golden amber in color, with a medium white head, the head disipates quickly. The flavor is not as overly hoppy and well malted. Its ending is decently smooth.
