| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 30, 2009 Bottle. Poured translucent dark gold, 1/3 inch of white foam head that produced good lacing. Aroma honey, apple and pear esters, floral and spicy hops, very flowery. Flavor had a pale malt backbone, slight apple and bubblegum notes, clove, honey, spicy hops. It also had a much nicer body than most lagers; heavier than most but not enough to destroy the more delicate flavors present. I usually hate lagers but this was really good. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 15, 2009 Pours a hazy orange with a white head. Nose of grassy hops, bread and malts. Flavor is not as hoppy as the nose, but still a pretty darn good lager. Light bodied. bioburner (4), Maryland, USA does not count | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 13, 2009 A pretty decent lager. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Apr 9, 2009 Decent, not especially pilsener tasting. Drank right before the Sam Adams Imperial Pils. This one was much weaker and much less hoppy. Surprisingly light tasting and light bodied. Lightly sweet with a reasonably crisp finish. Pretty drinkable overall. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 5, 2009 Aroma is notably moderate hops. The color is a dark golden amber in color, with a medium white head, the head disipates quickly. The flavor is not as overly hoppy and well malted. Its ending is decently smooth.
