| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 18, 2009 Pours a clear, pale amber with a respectable antique lace head. Aroma is sweet malt and fruit juice. Taste is maple syrup, mild hop bitterness, lightly toasted bread and citrus. Interesting. Heavier than a pils with slightly noticable higher ABV, but fortunately without the dreaded malt liquor taste. A decent brew all around, and well balanced for a type that doesn’t usually lend itself to balance. CapFlu (3483), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada

Nose of solid amber malt and a mild hops undertone. Mmm.... Amarillo, my favourite. Flavour is beautiful, I love when lagers are actually good. Even though this isn’t terribly European it is really yummy. Or as my friend Hopscotch would say - "this beer rocks!" 7/4/8/3/15

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Feb 15, 2009 Pours peach gold with a tall, chunky, white head that has good retention but eventually fades to a thick skim. Aroma is grassy, straw, wet rocks, peach/apricot, a little honey and citrus and some pepper plant. Flavor is grassy, toast, caramel, noble hops, dried corn stalk, green beans. Finish is vegetal, slightly grassy and lightly bitter with playful honey and citrus notes. Palate is alot more oily than I would like with a dry finish. This would be a much better beer if it didn’t drink like carbonated salad oil. rugbydude05 (300), Kew Gardens, New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 3, 2009 12 oz bottle, clear pour with little head. Aroma is very strong for a lager- malty, hoppy and sweet. Taste is very balanced like the aroma with the bitter and sweet balancing out well. Palate is very smooth. Good beer. Nose of honey, vanilla, and alcohol. Flavor is lightly citric hop bitterness. Medium, slick body with a slightly pine bitter finish. kassner (463), Wexford, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 13, 2009 Bottle, light in color, no head and little lacing, not a great pilsner, and certainly not an Imperial Pilsner. It does have some unusual medicinal flavors and a clean finish but overall dissappointing. Not much for hops.
