Feb 7, 2007 WOW, big hop boquet on pouring this bottle conditioned light carmel colored beer. Nice medium mouth feel to it, nice malty flavor, alcohol definatly present in this one, nice and balanced, poor head retention but otherwise a perfect storng lager with a style of it’s own.

Oct 18, 2007 Wonderfully hoppy aroma. Flral and yummy. Nice hoppy flavor as well with a crisp dry, short finish, but excellent tasty stuff.

Feb 11, 2005 12 oz bottle. Golden and clear, with a lasting white head.Clean big malt and noble hop aroma, with a definite lager yeast note. Big and malty flavor with a nice noble hop flavor and bitterness. Has a German character to it....a hoppy maibock? I like this a lot.

A definate surprise as I had ordered it after a wonderful scotch ale, expecting something crisp and light, never having heard of this beer beforehand. What I got was a very complex concoction, lots of floral hop aroma, nice and bubbly, very thick and full bodied. I loved it!

Apr 17, 2007 12oz brown bottle purchased as part of a multi-pack at Florian’s. Translucent amber body with a half inch of off-white head that leaves a small amount of lacing. Smells like apricot and caramel malt with hints of yeast. Tastes like caramel malt with supporting citrus hops. Rich sweetness dominates the flavor. Seems like a hint of mint in this brew too. Full flavor is complimented by a creamy mouthfeel and a moderate amount of carbonation. Overall a well-made drinkable beer.
