Commercial Description:
Pale, Crystal, Carapils and Munich malts. Magnum, Fuggles, Cascade, Centennial and Chinook Hops. This ale is pure hop power but perfectly balanced with a rich malt character. Floral and aromatic, the hop character is enhanced by the technique of dry hopping, a traditional method of increasing aroma. Available from mid-October to February.

Orange-red with thin, but sticky head. Sweet pine aroma. Wonderful sweet hoppiness here ... crisp and tart, a hint of citrus, but not too much. Superb beer.

deep orange/amber color (looks like an O’fest), head is very thick, almond color, mostly lasting. aroma is grapefruit and butter initially. flavor has the bitterness level of an IPA more than a typical IIPA, but it’s still not bad. i actually think i can taste the fuggles. they aren’t my favorite hops, but i love picking the flavor apart for fuggles...good times. not bad.

Tap, copper color with huge head. Strong smell of hops and pine if ypou will, winter beer and all. Mild malt also. Flavor was crisp and hoppy, lots of good ness on the tongue. I liked this plenty.

Copper collored body and a full, frothy head. Strong pine hoppy aroma, also lightly spicy and some maltiness hiding in the background. Strong crisp, hoppy flavor on a decent malt base followed by a mildly bitter aftertaste.

Pours a light copper body beneath a serious and tenacious head that laces all the way down the glass. Nose is full of hops, with a spicy undercurrent. Strong piney hop flavor, and swirls of sweet malt. Medium-heavy bodied, easy drinking but assertive. Warming and pleasant, a great winter brew.

Bottle. ORange and clear with a big white head. Nice floral hop aroma. mellow hop flavors and bitterness, with a smooth and unassertive malt flavor. Easy to drink but nothing unusual.

Amber and orange with a fine rocky off-white head and considerable lacing. Aromas are woodsy -- pine and some hazelnut, as well as a slight scent of yeast and the citrus of hops. A big beer at first taste, it settles into something more drinkable with notes of pine cone, apricot, and horse blanket. Appreciable alcohol with a heavy hand on the hops. The yeast and malts are out of balance though, with a short sour-bitter finish.
