Body was deep gold - this is an American Dark? Bready malts propelled upwards by an effervesent carbonation - very club soda-ish palate. Finish was light but sweet - very faint hops in this one. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Aug 16, 2004 Golden/light amber color, small white head that faded quickly leaving little behind. The aroma was malty sweet with a cereal like quality coming through as well as a faint hop presence, and maybe just a hint of lemon.Nice malty sweet taste with maybe a bit of caramel and some hops but there fairly faint at best. Not a bad brew at all, granted it could be better but over all it’s a very nice drinking brew with subtle flavors makeing it a brew for the summer time. Thanks to Slob for sending an AD brew my way. haddon90 (1040), Alexandria, Virginia, USA

Deep amber color with a lasting white head. Sweet nose, with an earthly balance between hops and malt. Smooth taste, with a light malty flavor and a hint of hops. A very good try indeed! | 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 3/5 | 5/20 | Jun 13, 2004 Updated: Aug 12, 2007This beer was given to me by a friend. Having tried it this makes me question the friendship some - but I believe that they had not tried it yet so there can be some presumption of innocence. It came in the usual 12 oz brown bottle one expects to find. It poured a light golden color with a small tan head that faded quickly. The appearance while not revolting did not inspire. The scent was full of your typical macro sourness and was relatively repugnant. The flavor was sour on the front and tangy on the back with a vaguely oily skunky aftertaste. In all were this tasted blind with such luminaries as the three amigos of BMC there would have been nothing to this to separate it from their company. sloth (1684), Ceciltucky, Co., Maryland, USA

Light body. Dry malt flavors and some apple notes also. Finish is dry, thin. harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA
