does not count Quirkmeister (7), North Carolina, USA Jan 24, 2008 Good color and maintains a good head while pouring. Not expensive in the Md area. Better choice over Bud any day.
CaptainCougar (4664), Rockville, Maryland, USA Oct 1, 2008 Pours a transparent deep golden color with a thin, fizzy white head. Aroma of musty grainy malts and plenty of lager yeast character and subtle noble hops. Body starts with a pleasant mild sweetness and some husky malt notes with good hop bittering balance before a dry, crisp, drinkable finish. Very true to style and although it has little complexity, it would make for a good session beer. hellbilly (912), scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA Sep 16, 2008 bottle BB oct/08 by way of beachbum25... pours pale gold/yellowy-orange with a small quickly dissipating white head. smells a bit like kombucha tea and lemon... fruity, lightly spicy and herbal as well. it tastes like grains that have slightly soured along with hot tea, pale/light malt, honey and unidentifiable fruit with a somewhat dry finish. light body and prickly carbonation. weird... jjpm74 (3155), Stratford, CT 06614, Connecticut, USA Sep 4, 2008 Bottle courtesy of beachbum25. Pours gold with a white head. Smells spicy and earthy with some fruity hints. Tastes vegetal and citrussy with a light peppery finish. jcwattsrugger (4045), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Aug 25, 2008 12 oz bottle-pours a white head and gold color. Aroma is somewhat sweet medium malt, some fruit. Taste is somewhat sweet medium malt, some fruit/honey, secondary herbal/spice hops. Mild carbonation. Ubermunch (13), Maryland, USA Apr 3, 2008 This beer is a great alternative to mass market brews... and at a good price regionally. In the summer these go down quickly when ice cold. There’s a lot more flavor and depth here than you might expect for such a simple, relatively light beer.
