Pour is slightly hazy yellowish amber, pours massive soaplike head - Good. Nose is little banana, esters and a little booze - Ok. Carbonation and feel is very welcoming - very good. Taste, like the aroma is lacking, some raspberry?? - Ok. Middle of the road at best. daknole (2805), Plantation, Florida, USA Feb 5, 2009 Yellow pour, big white head. Aroma is sweet and full of wheat. The damn thing is so carbonated I cannot even rate it fairly. I didn’t care for what flavor I did taste, but the bubbles just overwhelmed me. Move on. jgb9348 (2492), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA Jan 17, 2009 Clear golden coloured body with a super-thin white head that fades fast. Aroma of wheat, corn, malt and a tiny amount of fruits. Medium-bodied; Strong wheaty taste with a large yeast flavour and some orange and lemon tastes as well. Aftertaste shows a bunch of malt, some spices and mostly sweet. Overall, a decent wheat - too much yeast and malt, but a good one to try from the region! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Norm’s in Vienna, Virginia on 29-October-2006. hellbilly (1492), scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA Sep 20, 2008 bottle from beachbum25... pours quite hazy a pale orange gold topped by a soapy white head. very musty wheaty aroma with light spice, orange peel, wood and a bit of yeasty savory. there’s plenty of earthy/musty wheat, banana, lemon, grass and lots of spice in the flavor. but everything is covered up by a sticky sweet blanket. there is an attempt at a dry finish but somehow sweetness lingers in the aftertaste. full to medium body due to the sugars with a coating mouth feel... yuck! how is a hefe not refreshing? badlizard (2325), Berkeley, California, USA Sep 7, 2008 Bottle in VA. Clear amber, watery palate, and a pear cider aroma and taste with a clean malty finish. Cletus (5001), Connecticut, USA Aug 28, 2008 Bottle courtesy of beachbum25. Pours a hazy amber with a thin white head. Smells of citrus, clove, dough. Tastes citrussy and doughy with a spicy finish. Decent.
