Pours honey brown, with little head that leaves no lacing. Not much flavor for this heff.

One bottle from BOTW. Hazy light golden color. Sweet light malt aroma with some cloves. Sweet flavor with noticable hints of bananas. The label says to try with lemon,and I always do, and it was very good and refreshing that way.

(draft @ The Old Toad - Rochester, NY) Cloudy orange color with a thin line of white head. Aroma is loaded with orange, bananas, grains, wheat, and esters. Some cloves as well. Flavor is very grainy and loaded with bananas and yeast. A little thin-bodied and bitter at the end. Not too bad actually.

Pours a hazy yellow with a thin white head. Hints of light spices and banana on the nose. Rather thin mouthfeel. Banana and lemon on the tongue. This beer really doesn’t taste like a hefeweizen. Like another poster said it was more like an Abbey dubbel. I have to agree. Not a good representative of its style.

GABF 06. Hazy golden with heavy carbonation. Aroma is tons of banana esters and clove. Taste is banana and clove, some wheat with a clean finish.

Pours slightly cloudy, with no real indicative head of a German Hefe. The nose is straight wheat, and the flavors follow heavy suit. I miss the lemon, banana and clove aspects of a truly great hefe. The body is thin, with a slightly lemon-citrus finish finish. Extremely mediocre in every regard.

I was thoroughly unimpressed. A very clear applejuce look with a fluffy-bubbles large white head that disappears almost immidiately. A small stream of carbonation. Applejuce again isn’t too far off. Nothing else really other than maybe some yeast. Flavors are sugary sweet but not much of anything. Reminds me of a muted, mild abbey dubbel taste with a bready ager type flavor. I like it a lot, but it left me wanting more, more flavor. I coud drink a lot of this as it is so mild Could be a decent transition beer for those along the Atlantic.

12oz bottle, nose has an ok clove scent, but not much else. Flavor has very faint banana and some spice. Way to light and flavorless from what Im used to in a Hefe-Weiss. Not impressed at all.
