Commercial Description:
In Belgium, one of the world’s greatest brewing regions, the tradition of blending fruit with beer has achieved cult status. We decided to create an American interpretation that we present as Oxford Raspberry. The beer is light and refreshing and finished with real raspberries giving it a fruity aroma, and quenching tartness.

On tap @ Coles Buffalo NY. Nice looking Hefe>frothy with nice head. Raspberry flavor is too perfumy almost fake. Like the mouthfeel but something seems doctored

Bottle. Pours orange yellow, thin white head. Aroma is raspberries, tomatoes, grass, malt. Flavor is raspberry, barley, malt: tastes like raspberry iced tea.

One bottle from BOTW. It did not look like much when poured, but the aroma and Flavor were filled with Raspberries. Only small amount of wheat. I should have saved this for a hot summer day. Would be very refreshing then.

Poured a hazy dark copper color with a thin off-white head. The aroma was fruity with light notes of raspberry. Some caramel malt underneath. The flavor was malty with a mild sweetness and light raspberry. Semi-dry finish.

Pinkish reddish colour. Not the star of their lineup, and I am not normally a fan of fruit beers, though I gave had some good ones. Sweet aroma, cotton candy. Thinnish, not a real raspbery taste and it did something with the wheat. Maybe I’d like the wheat without its injection.

Rerate 9/08 as Oxford organic raspberry wheat, new label and I thing the recipe is different: Palate is very creamy bubbly. Some sdiment on the boittom for a little switling action in the glass when you get to the bottom. The old beer was filtered. Some sweet olfactory. Appears a little viscous in the glass but is not on the tongue. Taste is beery and a little dully tart with perhaps some raspberries but it is not sweet, appears to be lacking gentle sweetness. Finish is not bad. I do think this is a different beer than Clipper City Oxford Raspberry Wheat, since that was not hazey.

original 3,1,3,2,6. Brown 12 oz bottle. Popping the lid yeilds a scanty sour aroma with a dab of yeast. Pours like any other pale yellow american beer, is not cloudy. Taste commences with a raspberry implication tho not engaging. Is something like a flavored wheat beer but is not as sweet. There are not too many good fruit beers out there abd this is below average. I like raspberries but ...... Of the three fruit beers I’ve tasted tonight; harbor blueberry, oxford rasp and leinies berry, this is second best.

A golden pour with a hint of red. Huge notes of raspberries on the nose. A flavor of raspberries, light malt, and with a slight bitter whang. A slgihtly lite palate but not really as thin as I would have thought. Nice drinker.

A golden appearance. The aroma is raspberries and wheat. The flavor is somewhat doughy with some lemons and mainly raspberries of course. A pretty standard fruit beer.
