Pours a light crimson, translucent, looks somewhat dull. Aroma of ripe raspberries, very striking, reminds me of a raspberry lambic, however this doesn’t translate well in the flavor, somewhat flat raspberries are almost non-existant in the flavor, however has a crisp clean aftertaste. Overall a decent enough beer that I would purchase again. Cows9 (41), Dumont, New Jersey, USA

I didn’t think I’d be a fan but it would be pretty good sitting on the beach. Raspberry flavor is really fresh. It is really light though. I’d much rather have a real beer, but if my girlfriend sent me to the store to buy Smirnoff Ice I would definetely buy this instead. DogfishKing (22), USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 20, 2005 Fruity, tart raspberry aroma. Pinkish hue to the body, bubbly brew with a thin but head. Other than the raspberry flavor the beer was thin and watery. I guess more of a summer beer, but I’d prefer more body to a fruit beer. richlikebeer (832), Easton, Pennsylvania, USA

I had it out of a 1/6 barrel, and found the raspberry flavor to be huge, with the ending being tart, with almost a sparkling wine mouthfeel. The head was pretty weak. It had a very crisp and taste, and went down very easy. A very different experience, but a pleasant one. surfmurf (77), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

Was not as bad as I expected however I prefer a slight hint of a fruit but this was more overpowering. Looked slightly cloudy but poured a good head. hopdog (5611), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 9, 2004 Poured a lighter golden color with a huge, frothy (5 finger) head. Some floaties. Strong Raspberry aroma. Raspberry in the taste (not as strong as the smell) and some malts. Fizzy and light body. Loddeer (171), USA

Anyways, the taste of raspberry on the palate is subtle, but gets a little better as the beer goes down. I have add Raspberry wheats before, many of which are much better. This one is average at best ... nothing special.
