Commercial Description:
In Belgium, one of the world’s greatest brewing regions, the tradition of blending fruit with beer has achieved cult status. We decided to create an American interpretation that we present as Oxford Raspberry. The beer is light and refreshing and finished with real raspberries giving it a fruity aroma, and quenching tartness.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden with a pinkish red hue and a small light pink head that fades to a thin ring. Very faint aroma of raspberries. Taste is light rasberries and light malt. Medium thin mouthfeel with a very mild bitterness. Not a bad beer to drink with pizza.

I enjoyed this fruit beer. The beer poured with a reddish hue and the nose provided the notes of the raspberry fruit that was not too sweet. The flavor showed some basic complexities. I did enjoy it to a level but would not more than one.

A hazey golden ale with rosey hues and a thin white head. Very faint raspeberry aromas, nothing much else. In mouth, a tart refreshing wheat beer, with restrained fruits, not bad, but not Belgian at all. Bought at Party Source, Feb. 2007.

Blah...no fruit taste. Pour was a light gold with no head. Aroma of wheat. Taste of strong with with not much else. Where the heck are the raspberries?

Draught. At Cole’s in Buffalo, NY. Cloudy apricot-orange with a small white head. Aroma of tart raspberry, raspberry popsicle, and white whine spritzer. Taste - starts a decent, if generic raspberry blanche, but almost immediately a sharp metal character joins in and pretty much ruins the pleasure. Average, nicely fizzy body, sweet, short linger - but metallic all the way through. If no metal, maybe 3/5. Maybe.

blah. drainpour. this was thin strawberry colored with some foamy thin white head. aroma is almost nonexistent. the flavor has hints of raspberry, strawberry, and lemon.

Bottle. Pours a murky yellow with fast disapating white head. Nice raspberry aromas with tart raspberry flavors which weren’t overpowering.
