Citrus fruits, lemon zest on the tongue. Nice bitter hop finish. A really good APA. TheBeerGod (3157), Newport News, Virginia, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 3, 2003 Pours a translucent red-orange. Medium tan head. Nose is a weakened hop aroma. Seems fairly clean and grassy. Taste is hops but is crisp, almost lagerish. Little too much hops for that though. Smooth, almost non-existent, aftertaste. Fairly average, but not too bad. jzzbassman (846), New Albany, Mississippi, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 27, 2003 Poured with a nice reddish-yellow cast and a small head, which laced really well. Hops are not as evident in the aroma as they are in the flavor, particularly as it warms. Oily new grass hoppiness made it a nice example of the style. Went really well with spicy green chile chicken dish.

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 9, 2003 Mild, slightly hoppy aroma. Clear to pale golden color. Not much there in the flavor department - drinkable, but not a top choice. Strykzone (1478), Wood River, Illinois, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 8, 2003 A really interesting beer. Both the flavor and the aroma changed while warming. The flavor held its own, but the aroma seemed to deteriorate. Lots of stuff in here to taste such as citrus and pine. Perhaps a bit of grapefruit as well. I liked the reddish hue but the flavor was the most enjoyable. egajdzis (3626), Spring Mount, Pennsylvania, USA

Slightly hoppy watery taste and mouthfeel. Funky after taste of metallic vegetables. Nothing special here Silphium (2137), Haslett, Michigan, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 2, 2003 A decent APA for the session drinker. Piney hops notable in aroma and in the flavor, with a touch of citrus. Beer pours pale amber with a thin off-white head. Thin body. A good choice for "rushes" of the good beer fraternity. | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 1, 2003 Not a robust head, but a nice lacing exists. Clear deep bronze beer with nice carbonation. This beer has an excellent flavor. Nice mildly bitter taste with a fresh minty finish. Overall, I really liked this crisp and very drinkable beer.
