Very moderately hopped, quite English, some orange notes on a mostly caramel base, malty. Smooth, moderately oily but not heavily carbonated. Easy drinking, somewhat thin beer, went well with my seared tuna sandwich. stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma of citrus, sweet malts, and hops. Flavor is sweet up-front, citrusy hops, and a little thin and weak. Decent brew, drinkable. jpm30 (1588), East Central, Georgia, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 23, 2006 From a 12 oz. long neck brown bottle with a notched best before date along the left side of label, Jun/06.
Made a good appearance, poured a clear new penny copper with a foamy white head that settled into a thin lacing, minimal amount of sticking, good carbonation.
Had a British hops nose, lemon fruity and earthy with a touch of cedar backed by a sweet pale maltiness.
A crisp, dry and smooth light bodied mouthfeel, good drinkability.
British hops tasting, lemony, earthy and a cedar resiny, a nice sharp bitterness with a slight tongue numbing, a sweet maltiness, a bit sugary and a dry hoppy and sweet malty finish.
This was better than what I expecting, a nice golding and fuggle hoppiness, could use a little more of a malt backbone.

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 2, 2006 Poured with a nice head that lasted for most of the drink with sustained lacing. The color was brownish gold. The aroma was hoppy and very typical of an average American pale ale. Not bad, but not great. Just average for its style, which are a dime a dozen. | 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | May 1, 2006 Clear amber with an average off-white head. Hops, malt, honey, straw in the aroma. Weak and watery in the mouth. The flavor was lacking any depth or complexity. Very mediocre. oldrtybastrd (1801), Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 17, 2006 Bottle. Pretty standard pale ale. Mild aroma with citrus and hops. Slightly sweet flavor with a malty taste. Lowe1983 (1029), Fairborn, Ohio, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Apr 13, 2006 Pours a clear, light amber color with thin white head. Aroma is of slight citrus and other fruit, hops, and sweet malts. Flavor starts off malty, with some earthy taste, and finishes sweeter then I expected. Not much as far as hops go on the taste. A little dissapointed after the aroma on this one.
