Dec 28, 2005 bottle cellared since 2000. poured hazey amber with big creamy slight brown head. super sweet slightly fruity smell. sweet malt flavor with carmel, lighty hoped and warm alc.finish. nice and creamy. maybey a little thin. I love this one. wish I had a case of this vintage

Crystal clear, copper ale with a small, creamy, white head. Decent retention; good lacing.
The nose is of caramel, toffee and Winter spices.
The flavor starts off sweet, but is balanced nicely by a generous hop addition. Notes of toffee and buttermilk. Also, something leathery.
Medium-bodied with an oily mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Short, clean, dry finish. World class Winter warmer!

Dec 7, 2003 CLear amber body with a smallish white head. Very nice sweet caramel malt and grapefruit aroma. Flavor is slightly sour with medium bitterness. The flavor does not stand up to the expectations of the aroma. Medium body with a slight puckering sourness.

Dec 7, 2003 Poured a copper color with a small white head and nice lacing. Hops, and tropical fruit aroma. Smooth, citrusy, grapefruit taste with a rather quick finish.
