2009-11-17. Crisp yellow body with a tiny white head. Flavour is quite mild, and there is really not a lot of raspberry at first. When it does come out it has an seemingly artificial character to it. Dominant character is grassy pale malt similar to the kolsch. Aroma is similar, muted grassy pale malts. Average to light palate. Perhaps the lemon served with it was intended for more than presentation. On tap at the brewpub

On tap. Poured a clear gold with a raspberry hue and a large white head that had a red hue as well. Aroma was full of raspberries and sweet wheat notes. The raspberry flavor seemed off and fake. It really fought the rest of the beer.

Raspberry wheats suck, face it. Light gold, almost looks like there should be a haze but aint. Straight up raspberry syrup stuffed into an American Wheat. Initial raspberry fades to expose a solid wheat body, mild hops. Mild carb, gassy, soft finish. Yawn.

on tap at the new brewpub in the Byward Market. Aroma of artificial raspberry, wheat, and wet grass. Flavor is sweet, and artificial, with a slight yeasty finish.

On tap @ Brewpub. Mild artificial raspberry nose, clear amber, small white head. Taste has a mild essence of raspberry, faint trace of wheat. Light bodied, not overly sweet, thank goodness. O.K.

Really disappointing. On tap at the Bytown Market. Weak berry smell and almost non existent rasberry taste. Very light palate.

Dégusté avec french tickler le 11 juillet 2007. Golden hazy poor with a thin white head and good lacing. Aromas of respberry bushes, banana peelings, fresh malts and yeast again on a nice herbal finish. Good effervescence, light bodied yet slightly creamy mouthfeel. Nice balanced mouthfeel and long lasting light bitterness. Added flavors of raspberries with a crisprefreshing finish again. Served with a lemon, quickly discarded.

En fût. Verre de dégustation directement à la brasserie. Arôme: Odeur de céréales. Apparence: La couleur est blonde pâle légèrement voilée. Présence d’un mince col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût de céréales avec une pointe de framboises. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps et la texture sont mince. Faible effervescence en bouche. Présence de céréales crues en arrière goût. (Rating #1674)
