SDbruboy (1809), San Diego, California, USA May 10, 2008 12 oz. bottle shared by DarkElf, with a best by date of May 2007 - we’ll see... Pours slightly hazy pale golden, with a thin white head. Cereal grain aromas, with a hint of citrus peel and light grassy floral notes. Flavors of grainy malts, more of the grassy and lemon notes, somewhat oxidized tasting. Thin body and assertive carbonation. Not so good in a rating situation, but I can imagine that served fresh and ice cold, on a hot Liberian afternoon, this wouldn’t be too bad.
Beerded_one (1551), Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 23, 2008 Bottle. Pours a light pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma of grain, malts, and a hint of metal. Flavor is corn, grain, and notes of grassy hops with a thin body and a short finish. Papsoe (9663), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 23, 2007 (Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of Bierkönig. Clear, pilsener golden with a decent, white head. Slightly unclean maltiness in the aroma. Medium body, sweetish malt and corn with an edge of metal. Surprisingly hoppy finish. Drinkable. 200707 Ungstrup (10824), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 22, 2007 A golden beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of metal and brewing cereal. The flavor is sweet with notes of metal and grain. Thanks to Jeppe for sharing. ChristianScheffel (2014), Odense, Denmark Jul 21, 2007 Yellow with a lasting white head. Grainy aroma, not completely unlike a German pilsener. Sweet boring grain flavour and no aftertaste.
