Only hints of hay and grass. Medium sweet flavour with some fudge and toffee. Hints of hops in the flavour as well. Light to medium body. Panzerfaust (401), Santiago, Chile
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Mar 12, 2007 Can, 4% ABV Pours a clear, flat golden color. Head is medium, white and decreases fast. It leaves a small and ugly lacing.
Aroma has faint hops and only traces of barley malt, but at least it has some of those. There is more metallic notes and adjuncts. Some vegetables too. Typical macro pale lager aroma. Predictable.
Flavor is fairly bitter with metallic notes as the aroma. The finish is harsh, a little astringent. Hey, this actually HAS some german lager hops.
Body is light to medium. Carbonation is high. Texture is watery....everything as expected. The aftertaste leaves a metallic note. It is dry as the label says. More intense than Aguila but also dirtier and less crisp.
Thanks a lot to <a href=http://www.ratebeer.com/View-User-31163.htm&g for sharing this beer. nick76 (2669), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Mar 11, 2007 The aroma has grassy hops and adjunct malt. The appearance is pale gold with a nice fluffy white head. The flavor is not offensive except for the astringent bitterness and the burning sensation on my lips that should not come from a beer with less that 5% alcohol. The palate is thin with a slightly acidic, citrus aftertaste. Otherwise, this is an unattractive but drinkable beer dominated by adjunct malt. Fukito (604), Buenos Aires, Argentina

Light golden with a medium white head. Bland taste, slightly herbal with a touch of malt. Mouthfeel is light, watery aftertaste. Refreshing, it has to be said. A light, watery and refreshing pale lager for that tropical climate. almopina (87), Madrid, Spain
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 3, 2007 Pale yellow colour (a bit watery) with a very thin but lasting creamy white head. Very carbonated as I think all pale lagers ought to be. Deep smell of hops and sweet malts. Decent palate. Flavor of sweet malts, bread and grain. Nice spicy and dry finish. Sweet aftertate in the begining turning dissapointedly into a metallic corn afterwards. A very dry beer. Overall, a typical lager, very easy to drink and interesting, but nothing really special to me. Slightly underated though. Spiesy (2333), Global Citizen, Greater London, England

Typical Latin American beer made with corn. Semi thirst quenching and a little sweet, but very uninteresting. Padron4KM (400), Chandler, Arizona, USA

Freshness date stamped on the cap. This sample was not fresh, but at least it was on a bottom shelf in a darker area of the store, and it had a layer of dust on it that hopefuly helped to keep light out.
Dark golden, fizzy short lived head, no lacing.
corn and grain aroma.
Flavor is sweet corn and slightly acidic.
Dry finish.
