Smells like corn, some malts and wet paper. Sweet corn flavors are overpowered by its dry sourness. Bitter, astringent finish. YogiBeera (2437), Hamburg, Germany

Pale gold pour with aroma of faint pale malt, slight hopcit, and some fruit. Watery palate, with flavors of hopcit, some honey, slight fruit, and some metallic and thiol notes. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Aug 2, 2006 Bottled. Got this at La Unica Grocery on W. Devon Avenue in Chicago. By the way, La Unica is THE place for hard-to-find Latin American beers in Chicago to my knowledge. They carried Pacena, Pilsener Ecuador, Polar, and Club Colombia. Anyway to the beer, had a hoppy scent so I was kind of hopeful...alas, once again I was disappointed by the taste. Bland, uninspiring, had a chemical corn, astringent aftertaste to it. Since its scorching hot right now, I guess pale lagers are a refreshing thirst quencher before drinking better beers in the fall/winter. MullMan (1086), Bloomfield, New Jersey, USA
