Pale yellow with a fizzy white head. Lots of carbonation. Smells like corn, some malts and wet paper. Sweet corn flavors are overpowered by its dry sourness. Bitter, astringent finish.

Light golden color, small layer of a head. Unpleasant sweet soapy nose and a terrible detergent taste. YIKES

Bottle from Super Saver. Pale gold pour with aroma of faint pale malt, slight hopcit, and some fruit. Watery palate, with flavors of hopcit, some honey, slight fruit, and some metallic and thiol notes. Not a repeater for me.

Bottle. Clear yellow coloured with a white head. Arooma of fruits, malts and corn with mtallic notes. Flavour of fruits, corn and malts.

Bottled. Got this at La Unica Grocery on W. Devon Avenue in Chicago. By the way, La Unica is THE place for hard-to-find Latin American beers in Chicago to my knowledge. They carried Pacena, Pilsener Ecuador, Polar, and Club Colombia. Anyway to the beer, had a hoppy scent so I was kind of hopeful...alas, once again I was disappointed by the taste. Bland, uninspiring, had a chemical corn, astringent aftertaste to it. Since its scorching hot right now, I guess pale lagers are a refreshing thirst quencher before drinking better beers in the fall/winter.

bottle at a restaurant called Bogota in Brooklyn. clear yellow color, thin and tall foamy white head. says bitter pils on the label. aroma of sweet corn, wet paperboard, wet hay. flavor is bitter for a pils as described, and dry at the same time. mineral flavor like club soda. maltyness is corny like masa. some sweetness too but on the low side for a pils.

oh good god is this skunked. swilly and clear. insanely skunked though. pretty bland. but still so cool because it’s an island beer. had this at mike’s going away party. thanks beercellar2 for bringing them and letting us take them over lol.
