Pretty weak porter...watery with little roasted aroma. Flavor doesn’t have much in the way of coffee/roasted/dark chocolate components. Mouthfeel is thin.

[Tap] Sample notes from May 2009. Pours a dark amber color with an off-white head. Sweet and malty aroma. Muted dark malt flavoring. Little in the way of hops. Thin mouthfeel. Tastes similar to their stout. I am convinced Coach’s uses either a light or dark malt base for every beer that they make... with no variations.

Chocolatey pour, big head and lace. No carb, nitrous tap? Nice and sweet, but very little malt for a porter, no wood or smoke flavor. Some lemon and soda-type flavor. Very strange, doesn’t really taste like a porter, no carbonation at all.

Draft@ Coaches Norman, Ok. Dark brown with a tan head. Mild roasty, nutty aroma. Thin mouthfeel. Soggy sour dark wheat bread flavor with not much else. What the fuck?

Sample from growler provided by the brewer: pours dark cola brown with a medium tan head. Light smokiness in the aroma; yes, much like bacon grease. Body is pretty thin. Flavor is lightly smokey: light bacon and short on hops. Thin and watery.

Draught-OKC Bricktown. Pours black with brown hints and a small foamy tan head. Aroma is smoked bacon grease, roasted malt (grain) and yeast (leather). Flavor is horse blanket, sweat and leathery yeast, no sweetness, bitterness or acidity, chocolate and caramel notes. Dark bodied and creamy palate.

Dark pour with medium head, large bubbles in the head. This has no distiguishable aroma, with a taste like a very bland Guinness (in fact this is like a bland version of the Sooner Stout). There is a subtle taste of hops, but it comes off as a bad impersonation. Palate is left feeling smooth. Later, a more roasted caramel taste shows up, and it must have hit the right temperature because when colder, this beer has close to nothing. Far too think of a palate... lack of flavor. Poor effort.
