Commercial Description:
This is an English-Style Pale Ale. Made with floor malted Glen Eagles Maris Otter malt from Scotland, fermented with Burton Ale Yeast and hopped with Yakima Goldings Hops (dry hopped too!). I like pale ales and this was an excellent one. Poured a nice copper color standard with good pale ales. Nice hoppy taste, good head and lacing on glass. This was an extremely drinkable beer. Too bad Hurricane Katrina destroyed this brewery.

Clear amber beer with great head (again). Citrus aroma of the hops competes with the biscuity malt. This malt flavor is excellent. The hops taste fresh and juicy, but the beer is relatively light on bitterness. Great balance and one of the best pale ales I’ve ever had although the citrusy nature of the hop profile makes it not-so-English.

Light honey gold. Long lasting head. Lightly smoky, lightly phenolic malt aroma. Fruity, dry, some diacetyl. Medium hopping but hard to pin down. Good mouth, good malt. Buttery finish with a hoppy zing. Very good.
