Abit set back by this one, very watery to me, and subdued flavor, its not a bad beer, but nothing special, dark, cloudy orange color, Sticky. Even a bit malty.uh.

22oz bottle from Darkelf. Pours a light oraneg color with a foamy white head. Nose is grapefruit and citrus hops. Taste is citrusy hops, light lemony flavors, sweet caramel malt is faint in the backround. Finishes with anice biiterness and a sticky palate.

Bottle... Hazy, orange ale with a small, frothy, off-white head. Decent retention. The fruity, perfumey aroma is of tea, apricot, pink grapefruit and very light pine. Moderately bitter flavor with lots of grapefruit, a little toffee and a dash of sea salt. Medium-bodied and very dry with lively carbonation. Finishes crisp. Pretty good English IPA. Thanks to DarkElf for including this beer in our trade.

22oz bottle acquired in trade with DarkElf (thanks!). Poured a darker and cloudy amberish color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of grapefruit, grain, and some honey. Tastes of pretty much the same. I wouldn’t call this one very bitter nor would I really called it well balanced. Has more of a grainy and toastiness to it. The body was on the thinner and almost watery side.

Pours a silty brown-orange, aroma is slightly sour citrus and malt. Flavor is grainy citrus malt with some earthy hop flavors, finish is bitter but not over the top. I have had some APA’s that were this hoppy. Not bad, drinkable but not an IPA I would look for again.

Bottle: Dark honey in color, very dirty and cloudy, moderate rocky off-white head, light lacing.   Harsh citrus rind and overcooked vegetable on the nose.   I now realize that most of their beers have this signature, but not as strong as in this IPA.   Almost earthy herbalness I would say, to the point of it being choking.   Yeah, flavor is citrus rind, bits of overcooked vegetable, with some earthy herbal roots tossed in without any sweetener.   WTF are these guys thinking?   This is the 3rd beer out of 4 that seems to carry this defect.   Glad I got a new label, otherwise this beer is a waste of time.   Thanks Stephen for the new label! =)

This one came in a box from SDbruboy. I have no idea why this is called an IPA but they should have labeled this a Marzen of Oktoberfest as this is no IPA.Has very little hop aroma,Bud has more .But it does have a nice fruit nose and isn’t a bad tasting brew at all.It just isn’t like an IPA.

Pours hazy amber color with small but lasting head. This beer has very little carbonation. Aroma is hoppy with lots of pine though there is a malty backbone which still exists. Flavor is warm and VERY earthy. I’m not a big fan of earthy beers and this one has LOTS of flavor. Not MY cup of tea but I could see how this beer would EXTREMELY appeal to English IPA fans. Aftertaste is also very earthy. That earthiness just lingers on and on and on.
