Poured a darker and cloudy amberish color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of grapefruit, grain, and some honey. Tastes of pretty much the same. I wouldn’t call this one very bitter nor would I really called it well balanced. Has more of a grainy and toastiness to it. The body was on the thinner and almost watery side. hopscotch (5549), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 19, 2006 Bottle... Hazy, orange ale with a small, frothy, off-white head. Decent retention. The fruity, perfumey aroma is of tea, apricot, pink grapefruit and very light pine. Moderately bitter flavor with lots of grapefruit, a little toffee and a dash of sea salt. Medium-bodied and very dry with lively carbonation. Finishes crisp. Pretty good English IPA. Thanks to DarkElf for including this beer in our trade. Cornfield (4980), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 17, 2007 This is pretty lightweight for any style IPA, seeming more like an EPA. The aroma is pretty tame and mild, some caramel and grains coupled with a floral/herbal hopping. Medium to light in body, it has sweet grainy malts in the flavor with a soft bitterness that does grow somewhat during the drinking, but not to the level of an IPA. Sessionable enough.

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Mar 23, 2006 Bottle: Hazy amber gold color, puffy and sticky white head. Nose of honey and sweet unfermented wort and earthy hops, light toast. The flavor is a bit skunky and "hashish" with clamy flavors in the finish. Odd bird here. beerguy101 (3972), Newark, California, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 28, 2005 This IPA pours a medium orange color from a 22oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is piney and a touch grassy. A medium bodied IPA, Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are piney and a touch citrusy grapefruit. Kind of earthy and way more in the English style of an IPA. It has that must earthiness thing down fairly well. Nice balance. One in a series of ‘seasonal IPA’s’. Wonder what that means? Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. Eyedrinkale (3209), Astoria, New York, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 2, 2006 22 oz bottle. Pours an apricot color with a thick, bubbly head. Aroma is white grape and peach. Dull flavors are balanced with stale hops and mango flavored hops. Not too good at all. bb (2941), Martinez, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 8, 2005 Bottle. Rich amber beer with an off-white head. Creamy malts and British hops in the aroma. Some citrus flavors to go with grassy/floral hops that’s very balanced. Not overly bitter. Cross between a British and American IPA without making up it’s mind - more hop flavor than a pale ale. The more I drank, the more I liked. Easy drinking. riversideAK (2803), Shoreline, Washington, USA

Word must have gotten round that this beer sucked! If you are looking for an IPA with noticable hops, do not drink this. Thank You.
