Blonde Ale is a traditional American style of Golden Ale. Our version is fermented cooler and given an extra week of cold conditioning for an ale with the crisp finish of a lager. We use all American malts and hops with Liberty and Mount Hood providing the spicy hop bouquet. OG 12.5, FG 3.0, Alc. 4.5, IBU 28

Bottle. Courtesy JCapriotti. Aroma very faint hops and spice. Pour was clear almost amber. Flavor wasn’t very demanding light floral perfume character to it. Palate thin and watery. Overall, just another beer.

I noticed the hops right away. Not overpowering, just enough to just let you its there. Quick head dispersion, but good lacing. Very thin body that is disappointing. Crisp finish as advertised. Clear, gold appearance. Flavor is of cooked vegetables and not very appealing. Some sweetness in the aftertaste. I wouldn’t go looking for this one.

A beige light gold color, not quite yellow, more on the auburn side of things. Nice spotty sticky head. Nose of pale malts and a touch of hop bouquet. Extremely nutty and toasty, full nose of toasty malts. Fabulous. The flavor is surprisingly medium bodied with a nice herbal edge of hops and balanced sweetness. The finish is average, a bit musky with some off-notes of light gravity ale. Decent blonde ale with moderate hopping. This was quite good compared to almost all blonde or golden ales I’ve had before.
