Commercial Description:
Blonde Ale is a traditional American style of Golden Ale. Our version is fermented cooler and given an extra week of cold conditioning for an ale with the crisp finish of a lager. We use all American malts and hops with Liberty and Mount Hood providing the spicy hop bouquet. OG 12.5, FG 3.0, Alc. 4.5, IBU 28

[At Stockholm Beer Festival 2005] An orange beer with a disappearing white head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of caramel, but also notes of barnyard and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw and caramel, leading to a dry hoppy end.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours a slightly hazy, honey golden with a small, white head. Lightly sweet, malty nose. Medium body with a distinct sweetness pretty much balanced by dry - but not overly bitter - hops. Neither very fresh nor exciting. 300806

Bottled. Clear golden. Fruity apple aroma. Sweet and medium bodied, hard mouthfeel. Foregettable, except perhaps for those green apples in the nose.
