Feb 24, 2007 Tasted on tap at the 7th Annual Bistro Double IPA fest. This Imperial IPA pours a light orange color. Small to medium sized head. Aroma is citrusy hops with a touch of sweetness. Medium bodied IPA. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are grapefruity and citrusy. Med to high bitterness 2xIPA. More hoppy and bitter than malty and sweet. Might balance out a little more with some aging. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Feb 17, 2007 Draft at The Bistros DIPA Fest; Nose of citrus hops; light copper with a small offwhite head; flavor was all bitter with no malt flavor to balance it. Kind of like last years SN Celebration Ale, just all bitter.
