Commercial Description:
Described to me by the store owner where I bought it as a Belgian/ somewhat Gueuze-style beer. Someone please update this description...

Very hazy golden yellow with a slight rosy tinge. Medium grained, somewhat sparse head. Sour, buttery (buttered popcorn) cheesy aroma with some cherry and berry hints, butyric acid. Aroma is just kind of gross. Somewhat metallic, citric taste. Very sweet, yet dead flavor. Not pleasant.

Bought at Whole Foods, SoMa branch, San Francisco. $2.99 for 22 oz bottle. silky white head, very cloudy appearance. Fruity nose, then explosion of flavors including yeast, berries, then flnishes slightly sour and dry with hint of blueberries. Overall, an excellent offering! Tried to find in Santa Cruz and Monterey, but no mas, even at the larger stores. so, if you like this style and see it, buy several, since you may not see it somewhere else.

(On tap - Toronado) Hazy, amber golden with basically no head. Sweet aroma of raspberries. Medium body with sweet accents of raspberries dominating all through the sweet finish. Actually a very interesting fruit beer. 250307

Bottle. A hazy golden orange color with a white head. A strong orange and citrus aroma with an even more intense fruity flavor. Sickly sweet with an intense fruit finish.

Bottle. Hazy orange amber beer with an off-white head. Fruit (mostly grape) and oaky malt aroma. Fruity, sweet malt flavor with backing tartness. Lots of berry and grape notes. LIngering sweet malt with lots of fruit and a bit of tartness. I keep wanting to add oak everywhere too. There’s a lot competing and it’s just a little sweet all throughout.

Bottled. Pours a murky orange color with a slight white head that fades quickly. Fruity and malty aroma with some grapey notes. Thin and fruity. Big strawberry notes along with some grapes and maybe even a few cherries. Many raspberry notes and even some lemon. Somewhat sour but a bit overly sweet. Clean and somewhat musty. Very light flavored. I wouldn’t describe this as a gueueze at (which is what I was told it was), it’s much too fruity. A very drinkable American take on a Belgian style.
