| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 21, 2007 Clear orangish amber, moderate head with good lacing and retention. Aroma is PNW hops, I’m guessing Columbus and Cascade.. but I usually get that wrong. Very similar to Racer 5, just smaller. goldtwins (4080), Nesconset, New York, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 4, 2007 Poured a clear copper color with a medium sized cream colored head. tHe aroma smelled of grapefruit rind hops. The hops also had the sweaty smell. Decent caramel malt base. The flavor was a mix of caramel and grapefruit rind. The flavor drops out leaving a large dry bitter finish. Medium sized body. grant (792), Long Beach, CA/Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA

Strong, resiny hop aroma, doughy malts, honey. Really deep, perfumey hops character. Rather sweet, herbaceous finish. Nicely balanced beer! Seems quite a bit bigger than 5.7%.
